IMAGINATION, DEAD IMAGINE

My pal, composer Michael Roth, has an exquisite new work, a composition based upon the words of Samuel Beckett. IMAGINATION, DEAD IMAGINE premiered last year at the Broad Theater in Santa Monica and the audience was at turns ready to dance or weep. I know, I was there! The fantastic strings of the Quartet Nouveau join Michael for an exclusive return engagement — (TWO PERFORMANCES!) — at the Hen House in Pasadena before their European premiere in Prague in the fall! I’ll be there too, reciting a few poems between arrangements, basically so people can take a moment to drink fluids or find Kleenex. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND COME!
