It’s hard to believe a year has passed since our city was devastated by the most destructive wild fires in Southern California’s history. In response to (and commemoration of) this catastrophe, as well as in celebration of the lives touched by it, poets SA Griffin and Richard Modiano have curated an exquisite anthology of new writing called ‘Catching Fire’.

As their press release states – “In this superbly curated collection…contemporary poets and writers from L.A. and beyond explore the intense horror of devastating loss, the helplessness of watching from across the country, the grief in the aftermath, and the resolve to rise again together from the ashes.
