Presenting “The Haunted Line,” a generative workshop exploring the strange and illusive qualities of the poem that ‘stays with you.’ Throughout history, poets of all traditions have sought ways to ‘haunt’ their work with an aftersense, a feeling that the poem remains active, even after we’ve put it down. Through use of meter, deep image, slant sonics, even secret codes and redaction, we’ll examine what others have done and see if we can get your ghost. No experience necessary.
