I’m only posting this because I’m proud of it. For the first time in 25 years of writing poetry, I am going on an actual retreat. From the evening of June 2nd. until Sunday June 10th, I will be doing NOTHING but eating and writing. I am HUGELY grateful to friend and champion Elena Karina Byrne for awarding me the first such residency of the (tentatively titled) Pixley Fellowship. I hope to come home with new work and a restored relationship to my art.
